If you want to earn money from the popular social media app Tik Tok, the process is now being made easier.
The company has introduced the new Crater Fund for more customers.
The program was announced in February and until now it was possible to become a member by invite, but now it has been made easier to join.
With this fund called Creativity Program, Tik Tok users will be able to earn money on their videos by fulfilling certain conditions.
Users who wish to join the program will need to post videos of at least one-minute duration on the social media app, along with having at least 10,000 account followers and their videos in the last month. A hundred thousand views will also be necessary.
The old Crater Fund is still in place, but it's unclear how extending the new program will affect its future.
However, the company said that people in the old program can transfer to the new fund, but then withdrawal from there will not be possible.
The original Crater Fund was created by the company 3 years ago and it was said that one billion dollars will be distributed among the users.
But its terms were quite strict due to which the users demanded changes in it.
Earlier in March 2023, TikTok introduced a feature called Series to allow creators to earn money directly from the app.
Users who qualify for the series can put their videos into an album and provide access to them for a fee.
Users will not have to give TikTok any share of this revenue, but they will have to pay a fee to be a part of the series.
This feature is currently available to a limited number of users but will be rolled out more widely soon.
