Like the nation, like the ruler

Like the nation, like the ruler

Whether you believe it or not, the nation gets its rulers. When we were oppressed, we got a leader in the form of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who refused the British government's offer to become the Prime Minister of United India and made us Pakistan.

We got Pakistan but we did not value Pakistan and started fighting with each other immediately after independence, so nature took back our Quaid-e-Azam from us one year after the establishment of Pakistan. In today's Pakistan, there are many leaders and there is a lack of leadership. Imran Khan declares himself the leader of the largest party in Pakistan, but his politics do not reflect the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam. He became the Prime Minister not with the help of the people but with the help of General Qamar Javed Bajwa and used to control his MLAs in his government through ISI.

As Prime Minister, he used to buy watches and necklaces from Tosha Khana at cheap prices and submitted fake receipts to Tosha Khana. His politics aimed to prosecute political opponents and put them in jail. He kept calling the state of Medina but could not show enough moral courage to recognize the paternity of his daughter who was born in London with his two sons by his ex-wife. Lives together. When he left the government through a no-confidence motion, he was treated the same as he was with his political opponents.

On May 9, when he was arrested from the Islamabad High Court, his activists staged a firestorm across the country. As part of a deliberate plan, the residence of Corps Commander Lahore was burnt. First of all, I told in the capital talk on Geo News on May 9 that the residence of Corps Commander Lahore was actually the house of Quaid-e-Azam, which was taken over by the British army before the establishment of Pakistan, and even after the establishment of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam was still there. Not returned. Quaid-e-Azam's correspondence with the military authorities regarding this house is preserved in the "Jinnah Papers" which were painstakingly compiled by Dr. Zorar Hussain Zaidi.

The attack on the house of Corps Commander Lahore and burning it down was a reprehensible incident and strict legal action should be taken against the people involved in it, but see the hypocrisy of the current rulers that they are creating a narrative just to condemn Imran Khan that Tehreek-e-Insaaf They burnt Jinnah House.

Will someone in authority bother to explain why Jinnah House was converted into the Corps Commander's residence instead of a national museum? Quaid-e-Azam bought this house from Mohanlal Bhasan through Qazi Muhammad Isa (Qazi Faiz Isa's father). done. The tenancy agreement was to expire on 28 April 1947, so on 3 January 1947, the British Army told Quaid-i-Azam that we will not be able to return your house to you even after the tenancy agreement, on which Quaid-e-Azam started legal proceedings. On August 1, 1947, a letter was written to Quaid-i-Azam that his house would be returned.

On January 31, 1948, the extended lease of this house ended, but Quaid-e-Azam was not given possession of this house. After the death of Quaid-e-Azam, it was decided to declare this house as the residence of the GOC of the 10th Division of the Pakistan Army and pay a monthly rent of five hundred rupees to Ms. Fatima Jinnah. Later in 1959, on the orders of General Ayub Khan, three and a half lakh rupees were deposited in the Jinnah Trust and it was declared as the residence of Corps Commander Lahore. After a few years, Ms. Fatima Jinnah participated in the presidential election against General Ayub Khan, then General Sahib declared Fatima Jinnah as an Indian agent. Umar Ayub Khan, the grandson of General Ayub Khan who captured Quaid-e-Azam's house, is now involved in Tehreek-e-Insaaf.

The government of PDM and its allies on May 9 set up military courts under the Pakistan Army Act against those who attacked the memorials of Pakistan Army martyrs in various cities including Jinnah House in Lahore and the ISI office in Faisalabad. I just wanted to let you know that I have decided to take action. It is a pity that the government condemning the attack on "Jinnah House Lahore" is ignoring the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Quaid-e-Azam fought for the supremacy of law, personal liberties, and freedom of the press all his life. The government of DM and its allies has started treating the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam as well as the Constitution of Pakistan the same way Tehreek-e-Insaf did to Jinnah House Lahore on May 9. Do Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah know that in 1919 Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the Legislative Assembly of United India gave a speech against the Rolot Act and said that no person's freedom is taken away even for a moment without a proper judicial inquiry. could go

The purpose of the Rowlatt Act was to give the police unlimited powers of arrest on suspicion of breach of the peace. Ironside, a British Member of Parliament, replied to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that the purpose of the Rowlatt Act was only to control a few miscreants. Rejecting this argument, Quaid-i-Azam said that we are not condemning the action against saboteurs and miscreants, but in any civilized country, the freedom of citizens is not taken away without a judicial trial. Despite Quaid-e-Azam's opposition, the Rolot Act was passed. He resigned from the assembly saying, "This legislative assembly has become an instrument of a repressive government, so I am leaving this assembly."Quaid-e-Azam, who resigned as a member of the Assembly against the arrests without trial, General Ayub Khan of the same Quaid in Pakistan in 1960 re-enacted the Rowlatt Act under the name of MPO. Unfortunately, this oppressive law was also used by Imran Khan's government and today Shahbaz Sharif's government is also using it to arrest political opponents. The rulers have approved the law of blasphemy of parliament, but who will take action against the perpetrators of blasphemy of Quaid-e-Azam? We take the name of Quaid-e-Azam, but we are hundreds of miles away from his teachings. They themselves also lie and our leaders are also liars, like the nation and the rulers.
